Abstract :
In this study; Science and Art Centers’ functions and operations evaluated according to the teachers who works in these centers. The sample of the study is 43 different Science and Art Centers in Turkey. The research was carried out with survey model and evaluated over 374 research surveys.According to the results; teachers opinions seem on ‘I agree’ level for Science and Art Centers arecognitive-affective on development of students on behalf of the realization of development and creativity. Although teachers views make no differences according to demographic characteristics but there are meaningful differences with their working years at Science and Art Centers. Moreover, in order to support to qualitative research, quantitative interviews have been conducted with teachers about their opinions on the Science and Art Centers and it was seen that some defects and deficiencies in Science and Art Centers, needs to be corrected according to the teachers’ opinions.
