PREDICTION WITH NUMERICAL STRESS ANALYSIS METHOD OF SOIL STRESSES
Abstract :
In this study, Stress factors are created on the foundation soil of point load and uniform load are modeled with finite elements method in computer. Engineering properties of soils under the sieve analysis, the limit values of consistency, optimum water content, maximum dry unit weight and swelling percentages were determined. As a result, on soils modeled by computer program, Phase2, under a uniform load consisting of stress distribution and under a point load consisting of stress distribution with the observed differences. Stress values shown in both the load is lower than soil safety factor. For this reason, the building to be constructed shall be transported easily to the foundation soil.
