INVESTIGATION OF COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF SILICA FUME BLENDED ADOBES
Abstract :
In this study, silica fume which comes out from Antalya Etibank Electrometallurgy Managing as a waste material is evaluated and, certain proportion of silica fume is used in adobe mixture. The environmental pollution is prevented by using silica fume in these adobe. Mechanical and physical characteristics of these produced adobe are researched. The adobe are produced from mixture of adobe soil , hay and different mass proportion of silica fume (%0,%5,%10,%15,%20,%25). The pressure resistance experiment are made on these produced samples.
