Abstract
Smartphones became highly sophisticated devices with an increasing occupation in our daily lives. One of the most attractive features of these devices is being capable of detecting location using GPS (Global Positioning System) technology. This feature minimizes casualties and damages to environment in emergency situations. Many previous studies have been done on systems in emergency call centers. Although none of them have included an integration of GPS into these systems. With this study an increase in the quality of 112 emergency call centers; using GPS technology embedded in smartphones, is aimed.
