Title Of Article :
DESIGN, MODELLING AND SIMULATION OF POSITION CONTROLLED 6x6 DEGREE OF FREEDOM STEWART PLATFORM
Abstract :
Serial and parallel mechanisms are used extensively in many fields today. Stewart Platform which is the most widely used parallel mechanism was first intended to be used in aircraft as a simulator in 1965 by D. Stewart. Stewart platform can be made with the use of six arms with extensible length and fixed to two plates. According to the number of limbs used in the mechanism and connections, platform shows changes in mobility. This system serves spatial movement application of an aircraft as a real time. In this study, with the use of programs such as MATLAB, Simulink and SolidWorks, Position Controlled 6x6 Degree of Freedom Stewart Platform’s inverse kinematic analysis and design of this platform is aimed.
