Title Of Article :
THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF A TWO-STAGE TRANSCRITICAL REFRIGERATION CYCLE WITH INTERNAL HEAT EXCHANGER
Abstract :
In recent years, the search for an alternative refrigerant instead of damaging ozone layer refrigerants accelerated and interest in CO2 gas was increased. In comparison with other refrigerants CO2 applications has become widely used today with less cause potential to environmental problems and thanks to proper thermophysical properties. In this study, it was tried to determine the effects of internal heat exchanger application to two‐stage transcritical cycle with an intercooler and internal heat exchanger’s optimum operating parameters. System working pressures and temperatures has been determined as variable parameters. Determined parameters have been digitalized in the computer program (Engineering Equation Solver - EES) and system’s thermodynamic analysis was performed. It has been specified that the coefficient of internal heat exchanger has important effect on the system performance. The results have been presented with graphics.
