Abstract :
Stochastic fractal search algorithm is a heuristic optimization algorithm developed by Salimi. The algorithm consists of the parameters, which are maximum diffusion number, starting fractal count or population size, and the Gaussian walking f unction selection. In this study, the effects of the algorithm parameters on the performance of the algorithm have been investigated. The CEC-2017 test functions have been used to evaluate the performance of the algorithm. According to the obtained test results, the optimum parameter selections was tried to be determined.
