Title Of Article :
Investigation of Effect of Nitric Acid and Various Matrix Modifier on Determination of Lead in Biological Samples by Electrothermal Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy
Abstract :
In this study, determination of lead in biological materials by electrothermal atomic absorption spectroscopy was investigated. Pyrolysis and atomization temperatures were optimized in Pt + Pd, Pd + Mg(NO3)2 and NH4H2PO4 + Mg(NO3)2 mixtures using various nitric acid concentrations. % 10 HNO3 + NH4H2PO4 + Mg(NO3)2 mixtures was designated as the best conditions. The accuracy of the method was tested by certificated reference standard materials, CRM BCR-397 human hair, NIST 2976 mussel tissue and HIGH EP-H-1 drinking water. Relative errors were less than 10 % for all of the certificated reference standard materials. Limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) values were calculated as 0,67 μg/L and 2,01.
