Abstract
This study has been conducted in a Master of Arts Program with thesis in the Turkish Language Institute of Education at a private university in Ankara. The study aims to investigate the place of visually diabled students within effective mainstreaming practices in an Educational Statistics course. The main focus centers on the extent to which a disabled student qualified in social sciences can adapt himself or herself to the education process and what sort of problems they would face in a numerically based course. In the light of the findings, the research makes some suggestions for educationists and administrators about creating a more effective educational environment.
