Abstract :
The main purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between emotional labor and organizational citizenship behavior. The study consists of three parts, in the first part, the conceptual framework of emotional labor were covered. In the second part, the concept of organizational citizenship behavior were investigated. In the third part of the study, in order to reveal the relatio nship between teachers emotional labor and organizational citizenship behavior were included in the research conducted. Research in the province of Tokat Provincial National Education Directorate depending on the total of 598 teachers working in schools participated. The data obtained by the survey method were assessed through conforming to the statistical analysis of the variables by using Gazi University licensed program IBM SPSS 20. According to the results, there is a positive significant relationship between teachers emotional labor and organizational citizenship behaviors. In addition, the relationship between the sub-dimensions of emotional labor superficial acting and organizational citizenship behavior is less than deep acting and genuine acting dimensions. At the same time, organizational citizenship behavior and emotional labor of the teachers gender, age, marital status, according to tenure of office is a significant difference between the groups, whereas the differentiation between groups by education level not seen.
