Abstract :
It is considered that studies which assess jointly the supply and demand portion of the service offered, and permit a comparison opportunity are limited. For this purpose, this study s context is a Training and Research Hospital providing services in the provincial center Konya. Most saturated five clinics of the hospital have been selected as sampling group. The two scales used in the research are taken from the study of Aşkar (2006). Cronbach Alpha values for the scales applied to the patient and relatives, and personnel were found as 0,919 and 0,856 respectively. The frequencies and percentages related to demographic findings were calculated, The Pearson Chi – Square Test was used to determine the differences between variables. The resources of the differences were identified by using post-hoc tests. SPSS 15.0 programme was used in the analysis of data. Research participant patient and relatives consist of 51,1% female, 21,9% are age 25 or younger, and 36,5% are primary school graduates. The personnel who participated in the research are 67,9% female, 71,6% are age 30 or below, and 53,1% are nurses. At the conclusion of research, it has been determined that there is a meaningful difference between the patient and relatives in terms of sub-dimensional gender and patient rights, confidentiality/private life, and treatment care. A statistically meaningful difference has been identified between the patient right sub-dimensions, and patient as well as relatives ages, in-service residence and briefing as well as educational levels (p 0,05). Also, statistically meaningful difference has been found among the research participant personnel in terms of briefing sub-dimension and gender as well as duty variables, age variable and approval as well as duty variables (p 0,05).
