Sovereign Wealth Funds, which is a tool of diversifying the economy, has been an important discussion topic of international political economics since 2000s, because they envisaged investment mainly to foreign assets and managed separately from the official reserves although the state control. The aim of this study examine whether Sovereign Wealth Fund model is appropriate for Turkish economy or not. If the model is applicable for Turkey, focusing what kind of model should be developed. Also provide the decision-makers with a road-map about the Sovereign Wealth Fund model for Turkey.
