Self-leadership process involves three important strategies consisting of behavior-focused strategies, natural reward strategies and constructive thought pattern strategies and these strategies are considered to positively influence individual performance. The aim of this study is to examine the effects of self-leadership strategies on job satisfaction and effects of job autonomy and such personal variables as age, gender, education and working experience on self-leadership strategies. In this research, a questionnaire used to collect data was conducted with 240 employees working in a private hospital in Ankara and 145 employees (60.5%) provided their responses. Regression analysis results show that age, gender, marriage duration, training on leadership and the job autonomy are affecting the use of self-leadership strategies.
