Abstract
This study aim to discuss the concept of city safety based on the phenomenon of crime and also aims to examine different aspects of relationships between urbanization and crime. Our study firstly touches upon the phenomenon of the city safety and after that try to examine the concept of city and urbanization. After we examine the features of the concept of city and urbanization, our study aims to discuss the relationship between urbanization and crime especially its consequences for developing countries. From this respect the phenomenon such as migration and desultory urbanization’s effects on crime will also be discussed. Finally, after emphasizing that drawbacks’ overgeneralization of the relationship between urbanization and crime, our study aims to show that under which circumstances of urbanization can be cause of crime.
