Abstract :
Purpose- The purpose of this study is identifying the relationships between learned resorcefulness and role stressors, emotional intelligence, customer orientation, job outcomes of teachers working in the secondary schools of Tokat. Methodology- Questionnaire is applied to 223 teachers that determined by convenience sampling from 17 secondary schools. Structural equation model is used in analysis. Findings- Emotional intelligence and role ambiguity affect learned resourcefulness; learned resourcefulness and emotional intelligence affect customer orientation; role ambiguity and customer orientation affect job satisfaction; role ambiguity affects intention to leave. Customer orientation has direct mediating effect on the relationship between learned resourcefulness and job satisfaction; learned resourcefulness has partial mediating effect on the relationship between emotional intelligence and customer orientation. Contribution- The study is identifying the variables that affect learned resourcefulness and the relationship between role stressors, learned resourcefulness, customer orientation and job outcomes. In this way it is thought to have contribution on filling the local literature gap.
