Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship among Gross National Product and population and Civil Society Organizations in Turkey. For this purpose for the period of 1968-2006, the relationships among Gross National Product and population and Civil Society Organizations are analyzed econometrically by employing multivariate cointegration analysis, error correction-augmented Granger causality tests and vector error correction model. According to the results, there is bi-directional causality among Gross National Product and population and Civil Society Organizations.
