All communities, whether or not democratic, benefit from the police organizations to maintain order. But the establish concept of modern policing in society depends on the support and assistance of citizens. One of the most important features of our century is experiencing a rapid social change and social mobility. With this change expectations and thoughts from the police are changed. In scientific studies, the most commonly used data collection method is the questionnaire method. If a questionnaire is planned well in the phases of question preparation, field research and assessment and analysis it gives opportunity to provide easy access to realistic information. In this study, in order to determine relationships between the police and the public and the factors affecting these relationships, a two-factor questionnaire with Likert scale was used. In this study, questionnaire data collected from 18 years of age or older 2000 individuals that randomly selected who are benefiting from security services Şanlıurfa citizens of the city center was used.
