مرکز منطقه ای اطلاع رساني علوم و فناوري - TECHNOPARKS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF UNIVERSITY-INDUSTRY COOPERATION, MANAGERIAL PROBLEMS AND SUGGESTED SOLUTIONS

Abstract :

Nowadays technoparks are the places where universityindustry cooperation has been established. Technoparks are the places which aim to commercialize the knowledge which has been produced under the leadership of university or research institution, and thus to obtain high value added products to contribute the development of the region and country; which incorporate R D and innovation-based businesses, and managed by business manager of the team and have support mechanisms. Main purpose of this study is to determine the administrative problems which are faced by entrepreneurial companies and technopark administrations that are configured within the scope of university-industry cooperation. The research population constitutes of senior executives of entrepreneurial companies located within the universities of Ankara and have been active in at least three years in the position of technopark tenants. Applied to the entire universe, only 124 survey have been taken into cosideration and included in the evaluation. As a result, it has been seen that business entrepreneur and senior managers think that services are insufficient and they cannot get enough benefit out of them. In addition to this, it has been determined that there are differences on the level of benefits that entreprenuers get out of the services offered on the basis of technoparks.
