Abstract :
In this study, we examined the role of inventories in the evaluation of the performance of the supply chain. Inventory, affecting the firm’s responsiveness in the supply chain that increases or reduces the performance of national and international markets, is an important element that determines the level of competitiveness. Inventories of companies that start with the purchase process, product delivery to customers until the functionality exists on the entire supply chain has effective role. For this reason, the suppliercustomer relationships on the inventories, so that the effects of what kind of supply chain performance should be evaluated. The analysis of variance, the supplier-customer relationship impact on the performance of inventory is a method used in the investigation. In this study, multistage, multivariate analysis of variance method is carried out in a firm operating in the textile dye sector in Adana with companies that supply processes were evaluated. Using real data, analysis of the performances have been planned and realized in the period. Inventories in terms of how it affects the supply chain, customer-supplier relationships, customer or supplier in respect of changes that may arise as a cost analysis of what may cause a deviation are given.
