Abstract :
The study aims to explore how mobbing employees are exposed in organizations affected their organizational commitment. Nowadays, it seems that the increasing mobbing in organizations influenced employees’ productivity, effectiveness, confidence, work satisfaction and organizational commitment. In this study, firstly, the concept mobbing and then the concept organizational commitment was discussed. In the last of the study, it was presented the research findings. The research was conducted on the personals serving as the employees in a governmental institution in the city Kahramanmaraş, Elbistan district in Turkey. 195 questionnaire forms were distributed to participants. But, just 136 of them were returned to back by the participants. To investigate the relationship of mobbing to organizational commitment, the data from 130 questionnaire forms was analyzed. The findings showed that the employees were exposed to mobbing and the perception of mobbing influenced their organizational commitment adversely.
