Abstract
This paper uses co-integration and causality approach to investigate the relationship between export and economic growth in Turkey over period 1980-2010. In the study, Turkey s total annual exports, gross domestic product and gross fixed capital formation variables are used. Johansen co-integration test result show that there is co-integration between export and economic growth in the long run. The result of VECM test conclude that the impact of emergent shock disappearance in the long run. There is a causal relationship from export to economic growth according to Granger Causality test.
