Abstract :
In this research, firstly, the examination of teachers’ perceptions on the school management’sability to manage differences according to personal meaning profiles and informal relationswithin organizations was aimed. The secondary purpose of the study is to determine whetherteachers’ views on the management of differences of school management, and informal relationswithin organizations and personal meaning profiles, vary according to gender, age, marital status,level of education, type of work, subject, type of school, according to their teaching experience,and length of service in the school.The sample of the study includes 301 teachers working in 12 different schools in Istanbul,Gaziosmanpaşa. Diversity Management Scale, Informal Relationships Scale, Personal Perception Profile and Personal Information Form were administered to the teachers surveyed. Statistical analysis of the data is implemented on “SPSS 15 for Windows”. Mean (x), standard deviation (ss),frequency (N), percentage (%), independent samples t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis,and Multiple regression analysis were used during analysis process.
