Investigation of teachers’ and instructors’ views on the implementation of the Bologna process in the Turkish education system: the case of Hacettepe University
Abstract :
This study aims to determine the opinions of preservice teachers and the instructors about the Bologna Process in the education system in different departments of the Education Faculty at the Hacettepe University. Qualitative research methods were used to collect and analyze the data in this study. Purposive sampling method was used and participants included 12 instructors and 7 preservice teachers who are affliated with Hacettepe University Department of Preschool Education, Elementary Education and Science Teaching Education. The research data was obtained using a semi-structured interview form and descriptive analysis technique was used to analyze the data. The findings obtained from this study show that participants do not have sufficient information about the Bologna process
