Abstract :
One of the important issues in providing quality of health services is patient safety. Patient safety is all of precautions taken by employee in health institutions and these institutions for the aim of preventing harms to people of health care services. Safety culture is an important strategy for improve deficiencies which are common in patient safety. Safety culture is product of values, perceptions attitudes, competencies, and patterns of behavior, individual or group, and that determine the style, the commitment, and proficiency in health and safety management of an organization. Nurses play an important role in improvement the quality of health care through patient safety interventions and strategies. Strategic goals of nursing services should include constituting the culture focused on patient safety, taking the lead in providing of patient safety, creating an awareness and sharing information of patient safety, supporting of employee related to report system, communicating and collaborating with other discipline.
