Abstract :
Scleroderma is a rare chronic autoimmune disease and classified into rheumatic diseases. Among the early symptoms, Reynaud s phenomenon known as color and temperature changes in fingers and toes, sore and swollen toes are emerging. Hard skin, spreads and eventually may affect the whole body. Involvement is usually the joints, blood vessels, in the digestive system, sometimes the lungs, heart and kidneys revealed. The treatment of scleroderma patients, often changed the course of the disease rather than strategy, is focused on organ-specific approach. The aims of nursing care in a patient with scleroderma are to provide knowing the illness and its management, and learning to live and deal with scleroderma.
