THE METHODS OF OVERCOMING SURGERY FIRES AND BURNS IN OPERATING ROOM
Abstract :
Surgical fires are among important risks which inhere in operating room. Fire is an always existent danger and it is an unsolicited status which dangers patient-medical staff safety. In order to reduce fire risk in facilities that offer health services; procedures and programs should be developed by a multidisciplinary approach formed by all professionals that provide patient treatment and care. Notice and reporting of fires and burns, education of health service providers about how and why fires and burns occur can be listed among applications for preventing fires. This paper has been studied in consideration of literature knowledge on the purpose of, developing applicable programs for preventing surgical fires and burns on facilities that offer health services and to offer an insight to evaluation of programs efficiency.
