The Perceptions of Primary School Teachers Regarding Administratior Ethic Leadership Behavior
Abstract :
Administrators, as the practitioners of the organizational change, are at the centre of administrative business and actions. Each administrator adjudges to the dynamism, innovation, efficiency, sufficiency and many more features of the organization with the factors which he actuates and affects the behavior. The purpose of this study is to reveal the perception level of the primary school teachers in terms of their ethical leadership variability.Population of the research is the 31 official elementary schools in 2007-2008 education year in the central district of Hatay/Antakya. Sample consists of the teachers from 10 official elementary schools which have more than 10 teachers and which are accepted as developed schools in terms of school culture by taking the regional inspectors’ opinions. There are 390 teachers in the research context. Data, Ethical Leadership Scale (ELO) were collected using a measurement tool. Data, Ethical Leadership Scale (ELO) were collected using a measurement tool. According to the views of teachers, administrators were found to be a high level of ethical leadership behavior. As a result, ethical leadership behavior of administrator is a moderator variable for the teachers to be more productive and effective employees in terms of relationships with their schools. According to the survey, a study of the causes of low perceptions of ethical leadership that can be done over more youngs and womens.
