On the Term of “Main Clause”

Each one of the features expressed in definitions and reviews specific to structures called main clause are simultaneously specific to sentence and a significant part of these features appear to express in order to indicate different between sentence and subordinate clause instead of explaining main clause term. Therefore, this term is far to specify semes, features and propers of a structure.It is appeared that this term has essentially been needed as a concequence thought which a subordinate clause or reported speech attach to main clause. Whereas, it could be said that a sentence is within an another sentence with reduction not attached the sentence. For reported speech it could be expressed that a sentence is within an another sentence without reduction. In this case, it must been questioned that the term called main clause is really needed seeing that a sentence where subordinate clause and reporteed speech attach doesn t remain and the sentence which include subordinate clause and reporteed speech isn t more different than the structure called sentence. In this work, it would been proffered by questioning this matter that only sentence term is been used instead to main clause term.
