The Problems Faced By Music Teachers in Their Professional Lives (Example Province Of Sivas)

In this study, problems that music teachers working in Sivas city center come across with are emphasized and the factors affecting the music teachers’ professional lives are identified. The problems that music teachers face with in their professional lives were detected using the interview tehnique, and thus, data for the survey questions were gathered. In this context, applying the questionaire technique, Cronbach Alfa factor measuring the question homogeneity and consistency of the scale was found as 0,87. So as to measure the answers’ reliability the individuals’ give, Re-test Method was applied and the corelation number was found as 0.82. It was concluded that throughout their professional lives, music teachers had to deal with educational, social, and psychological problems, and suggestions were made about the results of the study.
