Abstract :
This study is a research inquiring how tobacco and tobacco products are used in recent period of Turkish film industry within the context of product placement. In the study, it has been examined that concepts about product placement, the global development of product placement, the historical development of product placement in Turkish Cinema and in view of the data obtained on this information how tobacco and tobacco products were used as product placement in Turkish Cinema between the years of 2011-2015 is investigated on the third part. Content analysis method was applied while the movies were investigated.
