A Survey of Gazelles with Rose Redif in Divan Poetry
Abstract :
One of the components that make up the harmony of the poem is redif which consists of affix or words staying out of rhyme. Divan poets have also written many gazelles formed around the same Word as well as several odes called as their redif. One of the most preferred words in gazelles as redif is rose. In this study, gazelles with rose redif which were compilea from divans in the years between fourteenth century and twentieth century and various sources, and statistical information related to the issue has been mentioned and translation of five gazelles with rose redif into prose has been added to the study.
