Vocabulary is one of the most important wealths of our language. As a result of social and technological changings especially words in dialects that continiue its existance are being forgotten day by day. The most important work that contributes handing down these words to the next generations is Dictionary of Compilation. New words and new meanings which detected as a result of the dialect studies will contribute to this dictionary. In this study, we classified the collected words by basing on the postgraduate thesis named Bismil Ağzı (Başkan 2012) under two titles as “Nonexisting Words in Dictionary of Compilation and The Words Existed in Dictionary of Compilation But Not Indicated in Vocabulary of Bismil Locality’’. We also stated meanings, locations in texts of the words and places in which texts collected. With our work, we tried to contribute to vocabulary of Dictionary of Compilation even if it is just a drop.
