  • Abstract
    Hyperkinetic movement disorders are rare in patients with acute stroke. It is mostly seen in the hemichorea-hemiballism and hemidystonia. Small vascular lesion contralateral basal ganglia and thalamus are responsible for this. In this text, a case of choreiform movements in his right arm and leg due to ischemic stroke is presented.
