ERGONOMICS DESIGN LEVEL OF WEB BASED NEWS SITES IN TURKEY COMPERATIVE ANALYSIS
Abstract :
With the globalization trend and technological development, there have been impacts of these on the daily social and political life since the second half of the 20th century; as a result, there have occured new tendencies for supplying the growing demands on information. This study covers the content analysis of web sites including mainly news web sites which are among the top 100 web sites ranked according to the number of visitors. A form consisting of 17 criteria and the statistical data source the website www.alexa.com were used as the tools in collecting data for the present study. Each category with its sub-items were rated as “present”(1) and “none”(0) scores. Descriptives of collected data were given and the rates and numbers were illustrated through tables.
