Abstract :
Warp knitting is a fabric manufacturing method on which important industrial investments have been made, but which has been ignored in terms of textile design. Owing to the technology that is open for improvement, textiles which can meet the requirements of various sectors from underwear to aircraft building can be produced. Warp knitting has many factors as knitting constructions, usage of colored yarns, patterning systems and possibilities of machine capacity. Warp knitting presents endless design possibilities to textile designers by these factors. Within the scope of this article included; opinions and assessments about what kind of differences can be obtained by visual and structural changes in yarns in terms of visual arts.
