Abstract :
Numerous theoretical/empirical studies have been done about ‘What is art?’ question, origin and the art fact’s social existence in community. However aesthetic, which is a branch supported by philosophy, partly produced solutions towards the essence nevertheless could not decide on functioning of art and the exact magical power of its meaning. On the other hand, it is another riddle to understand if producing a work of art, which may never be possible to know what it had meant to primitive human, is related to instinct or not. The method in the study will be to deal with adapting the John Locke’s method who is an empirical philosopher by shedding light to the art’s perception in primitive dimension. According to the fiction, the art phenomenon which changed throughout art history is the total of the human experiences which thought to develop creative ideas on the cave wall exactly like an empty signboard as it inverts to the contemporary comments. In this context; with the base of the theory of John Locke (1632- 1704)’s ‘Tabula Rasa’, whether there is an aesthetic performance or in the drawing/ chipping actions which show development from easy to complicated will be inquired.
