Abstract :
Organic farming preserves the balance in nature, providing continuity in soil fertility, taking control of pests and diseases, it ensures the continuity of the creatures in nature, in accordance with the ecology of plant and animal production in order to produce healthy foods, cultural measures, proposing performed with biological control and natural fertilization, not only product quantity increase, but also it represents an alternative production system aiming at increasing product quality. The aim of organic cereal farming is to eliminate the environmental problems by the insensible tillage practices for many years, excessive use of synthetic chemical fertilizers and pesticides and to protect uncontaminated areas. For this purpose, natural resources and energy are used optimum and it is utilised from the many possibilities of modern farming. In this article, in Turkey, it was mentioned last cases on organic cereal farming and growth techniques with the plant protection precautions.
