Abstract
In this article, we discussed two certificates belonging to two calligraphers lived in Erzurum where numerous scientific, literary, cultural and artistic activities are maintained in history, in 17th century. These certificates, reflect all of the features of traditional “calligraphy certificate” in terms of style and content, are important due to the fact that they show the connection of the calligraphy was conducted in Erzurum with whether Ottoman calligraphers or calligraphy masters in general.
