The Evaluation of the Excavation and Drilling made in Cyzicus
Abstract :
As the ancient city of Cyzicus is almost located on a private property and a large part of it is near Düzler neighborhood, it has been difficult to excavate in more than one area for a long time. Hence, during the second term excavations between the years 2006-2015, only in some areas including the temple of Hadrian could be excavated and drilled. In this study we tried to make an evaluation about the excavations and drills that we had carried out in Cyzicus between 2006 and 2015.
