Abstract :
Halim Barakat one of the most famous names of the Modern Syrian novelists, is considered to be one of the representatives who writes books about social issues. The Six Days, one of the novels of Barakat consisting of all the details of realism, considered to be among the best one hundred Arabian novels by AWU, forms the base of our study. Six Days is the firs novel of Halim Barakat’s novels as the number of publications. The novel consists of six portions of the named titles. In this novel Barakat tackles The 1967 Six Days Wars between Arabs and Israelis in the form of six sections separated by a partition: “The First Day”, “The Second Day”, “The Third Day”, “The Fourth Day”, “The Fifth Day” and “The Sixth Day”.
