Abstract :
Schools are regarded as the most important learning environments for individuals. However, everything learned in life is not limited to schools only. Schools are the systems that prepare experiences that give new behaviours to individuals in accordance with previously determined objectives and that offer these experiences they have prepared and mainly give ready theoretical knowledge. While doing so, they do not care about the imagination of individuals which ensures the most permanent learning and do not allow for the use of learning environments by doing and experience within the teaching process. However, the more active the student is and the more the student includes the learned knowledge in his/ her life within the educational process, the more successful learning can be achieved. For the realization of this learning in a healthy way, to conduct teaching in different environments such as galleries, factories, workshops, business centres, art centres and museums outside of classroom environments provides great benefits. In this study, an attempt to reveal the importance of using museums as an education and training environment outside of schools was made, and it was focused on the things to do about the subject by taking into account the administrative problems caused by the association of different institutions such as school and museum within the framework of a learning program. With this study, the importance of the fact that museums and schools are engaged in activities for cooperation in learning was revealed, and solution proposals for the problems that school and museum administrators and teachers had during the studies carried out were suggested.
