In this study, it is aimed to determine the problems experienced by the families according to the opinions of the mothers who have children with special needs. The study group consisted of mothers who have children with special needs who participated in the study voluntarily. The data were analyzed by content analysis and descriptive indexes, themes and codes were formed according to the answers to the questions asked in the interviews. Expert opinion was received about themes and codes and data were reported. The findings of the study were presented as tables and the tables were interpreted. The mothers interviewed within the scope of the research stated that their children with special needs had problems with their siblings in their home and also with their friends in the school. In addition to the problems caused by the lack of appropriate physical environmental regulations and irrelevant teacher attitudes, they stated that they experienced the biggest problem in the process of being informed during the diagnosis process.
