Restructuring in the Organization of Ministries within the Framework of Law No.643 in Turkey
Abstract :
In Turkey, the organization of ministries, which have been established for performing public services assumed by the central administration, has been the subject to a variety of legal regulations throughout the history of the Republic of Turkey. Never-theless, two basic changes were made in the organization of the ministries by two sepa-rate empowering laws in 1982 and 2011. The purpose of this study is to portray the new organization of ministries that has been formed by the enforcement of Decree-Law No. 643, which was put into effect in 2011, and Law No. 3046 in the light of the organiza-tion of ministries in Turkey in historical and legal terms. The study argues that the re- structuring of ministries of the regulatory state.
