Title Of Article :

Abstract :
Three models were developed to explore the relationship between tourism revenues and various macro economic indicators. The first model looks at the relationship between tourism revenues and economic growth; the second model explores the association between tourism revenues and current account balance and the third model explores the relationship between tourism revenues and real exchange rates. For all of the three models, Engle-Granger and Var analyses were employed. The results of these analyses revealed a one-way causal relationship from economic growth to tourism; a two-way causal relationship from tourism to current account balance and a one-way causal relationship from real currency exchange rates to tourism. Causality analysis results were confirmed by impulse-response and variance analyses.
