CORRUPTION IN HEALTH SECTOR: A THEORETICAL REVIEW
Abstract :
Health sector’s services are critically important for sustaining the lifes of individuals in a quality manner and ensuring healthy and happy societies. Due to features of health sector, reources that allocated to this sector has a large shares in world and countries economies. Exist of uncertainity, asymmetric information and many actors involved in health sector it puts into the sector a complex structure. This complex structure make up the environment susceptible to corruption and this is the cause of the sector more open to corruption than others. In this study it is explained that structure of health sector theoretically and why it is prone to corruption and costs of corruption in the sector has been stated and solutions are presented.
