Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to examine the process of environmentally transformation in security and to evaluate environmental security. Starting point of the investigation is that there is no safety of the environment with the increase in population and technological developments in the 21st century. Depending on the process of rapid change in the world, living conditions are changing rapidly and new problems and requirements are being emerged. One of the most striking places of change is international areas where security is being felt more. It is understood that in parallel to globalization, security is also globalized. In this context, the environment problematic has started to be a new national security problem. With the increase in environmental problems, the scope of security is expanded, necessity of the environmental security and international cooperation is revealed.
