EXAMINING THE WRITTEN EXPRESSIONS OF PRIMARY SCHOOL GRADERS AS REGARD TO THEİR CHOICE OF TOPICS
Abstract :
In this study, written expressions of primary school graders from 1st to 8th as regard to their choice of topics have been examined. Field research technique is adopted in the study. The universe of the study is primary schools in Turkey general; while , its sample consists of total 4861 students from primary schools in total 14 districts stated in 7 geographical regions of Turkey- one urban and one rural area- in 2004-2005 Educational Term. Data have been collected by the means of written explanation papers. Written explanations of students have been evaluated according to their topics and they have been classified. Findings are commented together with their percentages in numbers.
