A STUDY TOWARDS TO VALIDITIY AND RELIABILITY OF ATTITUDE AND SELF ASSESMENT SCALE PROPOSED IN SOCIAL STUDIES CURRICULUM (4. -5. GRADES)
Abstract :
The purpose of this study has been elicit the validity and reliability of “attitude scale toward social studies” and “self-assessment scale” proposed in social studies curriculum for 4.-5. grade. Descriptive method was used in this study. Data of attitude scale and self assessment scale were subsequently obtained from 204 five grade students and 140 forth grade students. Factor analysis was used for construct validity, corrected item total correlation for internal validity and, Cronbach alpha for reliability. As a result of this study, attitude scale and self-assessment scale were subsequently observed three factors and only one factor. Both scales have been internal validity and reliability.
