Abstract
This study examined prospective biology teachers’ skills regarding scientific process. Using an observation form, the research observed 27 prospective biology teachers working in groups of 4 and 5 in a bio-chemistry lab. In order to have deeper and more detailed information about the scientific process, the researcher conducted semistructured interviews with three students. A correlation analysis was conducted to examine if there was a relationship between scientific process skills and course achievement grades. Results revealed that, in general, the students had good scientific process skills and a positive relationship existed between scientific process skills and course achievement grades. Suggestions were provided in the last section of the study.
