Abstract
Real name is Ahmed bin Abdurrahman Kuseyri. Birth date is not known. He was died in Hatay in 1546. Mausoleum is in Şenköy. In fact, it is known that he is from Seljuks in Syria. He is a member of educated family on science and mysticism. He is connected with Şafi Mezhebi Halveti. “Kuseyr” district has been given to him since he removes dangerous activities in hir region. His dervish convent is known as a place in which the strangers and passengers trust. So even today, there is a belief his mausoleum restores to many illness among the people. It is known in Hatay that too many people who come from both abroad and in our country come to Şenköy in order to visit him. It is understood that both his sermons and Friday sermons were loved by the people in his whole life. Shortly, it is said that the mission of sheik Ahmed Kuseyri is one of the rings of chain that lightens Anatolia with his knowledge and ethics.
